Mailaway Improves Retail Merchandizing With One-Stop Display

CUMMING, GA, August 04, 2003 – For retailers looking for a sure-fire way to increase profits without adding shelf space, Intertape’s MailAway ® is the answer.

The self-contained, fully stocked point-of-sale product includes everything a consumer would need to mail packages, photographs, media and important documents

“Our research has shown that items offered for sale in stand-alone packaging at the end of store aisles attract more attention,” said Brian E. Miller, vice president of marketing for Intertape’s Retail Products Group. “The items in the MailAway product line are high-margin for retailers. They’re the type of items that can drive impulse sales and the display takes up a small space and can be placed near a cash register."

The MailAway promotional display include brown kraft packaging paper, package-sealing tape, various-sized mailing boxes, bubble cushioning material and bubble mailing envelopes.

Since 1941, MailAway has provided a wide range of products for mailing. The company, acquired in 1997 by Intertape Polymer Group, is the most complete single-source supplier for mailing products in the markets it serves MailAway products include padded mailing envelopes, bubble-mailing envelopes, TuffStuff envelopes, labels, wrapping paper, and a variety of mailing, storage and carton sealing tape products.

“Retailers can order a starter kit of items for shelf display or stand-alone display,” Miller said.

“Refilling as items sell out is simple; everything can be shipped to retailers in cases for easy restocking.”

Intertape Polymer Group Inc., headquartered in Bradenton, Florida, develops, manufactures and sells polyolefin plastic, paper packaging products and complementary packaging systems.
