Our tape head design utilizes adaptive Delta Force technology to control applying and wipe down action to improve on linear motion but in a compact package. Delta Force adapts to the Special Forces needed to apply tape to all 3 panels of the corrugated case. Front & Rear roller arms have distinct and different wipe down characteristics to adapt to their individual tasks
- Variable Force on the leading end of the case. Initial maximum force to adhere the leading tape leg. Gradual reduction in force as the roller travels up the end panel to eliminate case crushing and dog earring as the roller arm travels around the corner to the center seam
- Nominal Force on the center seam apply the tape but not so much to crush the major flaps
- Increased Speed of the rear roller arm to assure maximum wipe down regardless of the line speed
Want to change the force, no problem, Delta Force is adjustable to adapt to over fills or void fills. Each HSD 2000-ET II features adjustable tape legs from 2”” to 2 ¾” and dual tape leg supports make sure that the tape leg never folds over. A “Flipper” style knife guard with oiler pad and easily replaceable urethane buffing rollers reduce maintenance. The compact size easily upgrades any competitive machine in the world.
